QFFD Collaborating with UN Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan to Support Basic Human Needs

Doha, September 06 (QNA) - The Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) has announced a contribution of $5 million towards the UN Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan to support the UNDP-led, Area-Based Approach for Development Emergency Initiatives (ABADEI) in Afghanistan to restore access to basic and essential services, protect livelihoods, and support the local economic recovery for the people of Afghanistan.




QFFD Signs Trilateral Contribution Agreement with Education Above All Foundation to Support UN Transforming Education Summit

Doha, August 29 (QNA) - Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) signs a trilateral contribution agreement with Education Above All Foundation (EAA) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to support the United Nations Transforming Education Summit (TES) which will take place on Sep. 16-19, 2022 at the UN in New York, with UNESCO acting as the Secretariat of the Summit.




QCAA Air Navigation Director Confirms Qatar's Readiness for World Cup 2022

Doha July 03 (QNA) - Director of Air Navigation Department at Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) Ahmed Al Eshaq confirmed the readiness of Qatari air navigation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in a highly professional manner, indicating that all procedures related to the Qatari airspace and the flow of aircraft movement and air control are in line with the requirements of operational intensity during the World Cup.

Doha, June 29 (QNA) The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority announced the issuance of an updated version of the frequency spectrum plan for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which includes detailed information added to the basic plan that was published by the Authority on November 21, 2020, in accordance with the requirements of the International Federation.
