Expo 2023 Doha: "Anat Expo" Introduces Visitors to Traditional Crafts and Promotes Qatari Identity

Doha, October 5th / QNA / The organizing committee for Expo 2023 Doha Horticultural Exhibition was keen to launch the "Anat" area, which includes traditional tents to introduce visitors to the important traditional crafts practiced by the people of Qatar in the past, such as "Sadu" and others.

Mr. Khaled Al-Amri, the events coordinator of "Anat Expo" in the cultural area of the exhibition, explained that the Anat area consists of a group of traditional tents, each containing a traditional craft. Workshops and educational sessions are organized where visitors can explore the traditional customs of the people of Qatar through practical activities. An event called "Sand Encounters" will also be held, which involves fun activities for children under 7 years old, playing in the sand and mud, making new friends, and enjoying the beauty of their environment.

Al-Amri added that popular games will be organized to embody a sense of community and traditions while promoting family relationships and social bonds. In addition, a nature sports event will be organized to integrate sports with sustainability for the youth, such as "Dahrooj for boys and Sabba for girls."
