Washington, March 07 (QNA) - The Ministry of Finance participated in the financial track session associated with the 6th U.S.-Qatari Strategic Dialogue, which was held over two days and concluded yesterday in Washington D.C. in the United States.
The Ministry of Finance delegation was headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Economic Affairs Dr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Attiyah.
The session discussed a number of financial topics related to both sides, including aligning economic development, coordinating in the field of international development through international organizations and financial institutions, in addition to providing an overview of the macroeconomic and microeconomic situations.
During the discussions, views were exchanged on these topics, with both sides emphasizing the importance of cooperation to achieve stability at the regional and financial levels.
The Qatari and American sides affirmed the importance of enhancing mutual investment in various sectors that could be beneficial from a business perspective. They also expressed their commitment to expanding, developing, and diversifying the economies of both countries. (QNA)
