Qatar Museums won the International Green Apple Environment Awards for Beautiful Buildings 2023 for its three projects: The National Museum of Qatar, Fire Station - Artists in Residence, and Museum of Islamic Art.

Commenting on this Award, Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, confirmed in a tweet she posted yesterday on her official Twitter account that receiving this Award represents the recognition of Qatar Museums' commitment to designing sustainable and innovative buildings. 

Her Excellency said: "I am very proud that Qatar Museums has been awarded the International Green Apple Environment Awards for Beautiful Buildings 2023 for three of our projects: The National Museum of Qatar, Fire Station, and Museum of Islamic Art. This Award is a recognition of our commitment to designing sustainable and innovative buildings."
