Qatar topped the NUMBEO global database index for security and safety for the year 2023, out of 142 countries included in the evaluation.
The Namibio Index classifies countries according to crime rates in reverse order from most to least, as Qatar is the least country in the number of crimes in the world with 14.8 points in the crime index, according to the Nambiu Index website.
In the level of security and safety, which shows the ranking of countries according to the highest points, Qatar ranked first with 85.2 points out of 100 points.
During the previous four years, Qatar topped the list of the safest countries in the world by the Number index (2019 with 86.7 points, surpassing a list that included 118 countries, and in 2020 with 88.1 points, surpassing 129 countries, and in 2021 with 87.7 points, surpassing 135 countries. in 2022, with 86.2 points, topping the list of 142 countries).
With regard to city classifications, Doha ranked third in the list of the safest cities in the world for the year 2023 out of 242 cities in the Nambio Security and Safety Index, with 85.5% points in the safety index.
