The Qatari Media Center - affiliated to the Ministry of Culture - launched the weekly newsletter "Qatar on Promise" on the occasion of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. The newsletter includes World Cup news written by the Qatari Media Center trainees in Arabic and English, in addition to the availability of sign language in order to reach the largest possible segment of followers.

Ms. Iman Al-Kaabi, Director of the Qatari Media Center, said: “The newsletter comes primarily within the framework of the center’s efforts to train Qatari youth in various fields of media, including presentation, and it also comes as part of delivering a Qatari message to everyone related to Qatar’s preparations.” She added, "The newsletter is presented once a week, as it will be a practical training and qualification for Qatari youth." The director of the center explained that the Qatari trainees are very keen to participate as part of their sense of responsibility to convey the true image of Qatar to the world.
