Qatar Airways and FIFA organize a celebration at Hamad Airport

H.E. Mr. Akbar Al Baker, Group CEO of Qatar Airways; Mr. Gianni Infantino, President of FIFA; and Engineer Badr Al-Meer, CEO of the Qatar Airports Management and Operations Company (Matar), met at Hamad International Airport, and a Boeing 777 aircraft decorated with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 logo was displayed during the event.

The partnership between Qatar Airways and FIFA dates back to 2017, when Qatar Airways announced that it had entered into a partnership agreement with FIFA, to become the official partner and airline for the federation. Airport Company, Qatar's airport operator and management company, has announced the expansion of its hospitality for travelers who need a rest area before their flights. Qatar Airways will provide dedicated passenger flow spaces outside Hamad International Airport and Doha International Airport, at no cost, where football celebrations and live entertainment can be enjoyed, with storage space for luggage and hand luggage.
