Doha, October 26 (QNA) The Ministry of Public Health announced that, in light of the continuing decline in the number of cases of “Covid-19” virus infection throughout the world and in the State of Qatar, and the continuous implementation of the national vaccination program against Covid-19 in Qatar, and based on the decision of the Council of Ministers Al-Muwaqqar issued today, October 26, a set of updates to the procedures followed to confront the pandemic.
The ministry stated that these new updates will enter into force as of Tuesday, November 1, 2022.
The updates include the obligation to present the status of the health application as a precaution when entering health facilities in the State of Qatar, the abolition of the rapid antigen test or the PCR test for citizens and residents after arrival in the State of Qatar, and the cancellation of submitting or presenting the result of the PCR test or PCR test Rapid antigens are negative for all visitors prior to travel to Qatar.
The Ministry of Public Health stressed the need for citizens, residents and visitors to continue to follow standard precautionary measures to reduce the risks of infection with Covid-19, including receiving all vaccination doses against the virus, following the usual hand hygiene instructions, and conducting the necessary examination when symptoms of Covid-19 infection appear, Taking care to follow a healthy lifestyle.
