Doha, September 26 (QNA) Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) won the Excellence Award in Direct Payment Processing for the year 2021 from Citibank, an annual award given to partner banks, the best in their class, in recognition of their success in implementing commercial and financial banking payments in US dollars. .

The Bank received the award for its excellence in conducting international payments in foreign currencies with a direct processing rate of more than 95 percent, an achievement that reflects the quality of the Bank’s payments system, and shows its commitment to the best standards of interbank financial transactions (SWIFT), which facilitates smooth processing in the accounts of the beneficiaries in record time.
