Through the state department's standing committee for conference regulation, the Doha forum signed a partnership agreement with US Aspiration Company to achieve carbon neutrality, making it one of the first carbon neutral conferences in the world.
Commenting on the partnership with Aspiration, H.E. Lolwah Bint Rashid Al Khater, executive director of the Doha forum, said: "our commitment to achieving carbon neutrality is just an example of what all organizations and institutions must take to combat climate change and reduce carbon emissions. This year's Doha forum addressed how to turn into a new era, and climate change and sustainability are undoubtedly areas that we must all adapt to."
Aspirationn will enable the Doha forum to reach carbon neutrality through technology-based carbon footprint analyses and its large and diverse range of high-quality carbon credit, including its global forest reforestation program.
