Khaled Al-Nama, the official spokesman for the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, revealed a number of details about the draw for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be hosted by Doha next April. Al-Nama said - in an interview with Al-Rayyan TV - that there will be a group of empty or clearly defined boxes, which represent 30 identified teams who will be placed inside the lottery. He added: So far, 15 teams have qualified, including Qatar, and the remaining 15 teams will become clear in the last week of March, and two teams remain to be determined in June, and these two teams will play in Doha on June 13 and 14 and the remaining Oceania qualifiers. He pointed out that the schedule for the night of the draw will not contain only the draw, but there are many paragraphs that come as surprises for our fans and the fans of the World Cup. Regarding the transfer of this event, Al-Nama said: It will be done through the channels that have the rights to the World Cup matches, including the BN Sport channel that has rights in the Middle East, in addition to 300 media professionals. He stressed that the draw event will be considered the largest event before the World Cup or one of the largest, and the eyes of the world are directed to know the fate of the teams, from the American, European and English media. Al-Nama said, “We hope that there will be a record number of Arab attendance in this tournament inside and outside the stadiums, pointing out that the Saudi team is close to qualifying and the Arab African teams will not face each other, and we wish them all success."
