The delegation of the Chamber meeting was headed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Chamber. During the meeting, a number of issues, related to cooperation in the commercial and industrial fields between the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, were reviewed.  Among the issues discussed by the Federation of Chambers of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, was the continuation of support for the private sector during the pandemic and close coordination, as the Federation of Gulf Chambers sees the importance of agreeing that the governments of the GCC countries continue to support in all direct and indirect forms of the private sector at the present time. Especially since the main component of this sector is small and medium enterprises, which are considered the most affected by the pandemic / Covid-19.

The Federation of Gulf Chambers also raised other issues such as Gulf food security, e-commerce and digital services, and standardization of customs procedures in all Gulf ports with the aim of facilitating the flow of entry and exit of goods to all Gulf countries, and also the commercial concession law, and the extent of treatment of free zone products in some GCC countries, and the creation of a unified definition of the national product, and the reduction of the types of non-tariff barriers and technical barriers to trade
