Qatar plane with dozens of Afghan children on board leaves for Chicago

Nobia Wilman, director of the Chicago City Office of New Americans, said that 75 unaccompanied Afghani children were expected to arrive in Chicago and were scheduled to remain in FBI custody until they were resettled, according to the Associated Press.

According to a report by Turkey's Daily Sabah, after the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, and Qatar's start of afghani evacuations and international nationals from Kabul airport, about 200 unaccompanied children arrived in Qatar and were received at a reception center.

The children were taken care of by Qatar Charity in its quest to protect them and keep them away from human traffickers.

Children received full attention in Qatar and events including playing football, exercising, and enjoying arts and crafts.
