Qatar's participation in the 76th session of the UNITED Nations General Assembly, hosted by New York City, was part of Qatar's prominent presence on the world stage, as Qatar's participation in United Nations events was a boost to the continuation of development plans and the strengthening of international partnerships with the majority of UN states and bodies; and it further confirmed its vision of dialogue, peace, positive diplomacy and its prominent role in promoting the security and stability of the region and achieving the goals of the international community; Through a prominent and high-level presence always formulated by the vision and speeches of His Highness, the Emir of the State of Qatar, always emphasizes Qatar's clear and influential positions globally based on its pivotal role in supporting stability, mediation efforts and dialogue to resolve disputes and defuse crises. In this regard, the Global Legal Reform's General Coordinator and U.S. legal expert on a number of United Nations committees confirmed that Qatar is culminating in its international efforts with humanitarian logic in active and effective partnership with the United Nations, humanitarian and international institutions, in which Education through the efforts of Qatar Institute plays a pivotal role in the strong partnership between Doha and the United Nations.
Sherry McCarthy, the Global Legal Reform's General Coordinator and U.S. legal expert, said: Of all the permanent financial and humanitarian initiatives that have strengthened the Qatar-UN partnership, the issue of education has been a key priority for Qatar's development policies, as highlighted in Qatar's recent commitment at the United Nations to bring the issue of the girls' education to Qatar's humanitarian efforts. Among them is the initiative to educate one million girls announced by His Highness in his speech at the 73rd session of the United Nations in one of his round table meetings with world leaders, which was highly acclaimed for the Qatari position, and reviewed the expanded the country efforts in achieving these development goals, and all this positive balance was consistent with the country principles that made education an internal and external priority.
