Doha, August 01 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index broke the barrier of 11,000 points at the beginning of Tuesday's trading, adding 52 points, with a growth rate of 0.47 percent, to reach the level of 11,014.99 points, compared to Monday's closing session.

Figures issued by QSE showed a positive performance of the Industrial sector by 1.12%, the Real Estate by 0.51%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.39%, and Banks and Financial Services by 0.20%.

On the other hand, the performance was negative for the Communications sector by 0.13%, Transportation by 0.39% and the Insurance sector by 0.60%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR 55.830 million, distributed to 25.381 shares, with implementation of 2176 transactions. (QNA)
