Es'hailSat provides secure broadcasting of the World Cup and will launch development projects soon

Doha, December 14 (QNA) - The Qatar Satellite Company "Es'hailSat" has provided a safe and continuous broadcast of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, since its launch on the twentieth of last November, until the present day.

Commenting on the company's operations throughout the duration of the tournament, Mr. Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO of "Es'hailSat", said in an interview with Qatar News Agency "QNA": "The company has worked to provide various services to all customers and strategic partners, through its two satellites (Es’ hail 1) and (Es’ hail 2), from 25.5 and 26 east, in addition to the services of the ground station in the State of Qatar, and succeeded in enhancing the capabilities of the news gathering service via satellite, after it provided the basic and necessary requirements for transmitting the tournament to all parts of the world, with high quality.

Regarding the mechanism for continuity of broadcasting without interruption or interference, in light of the increasing demand for Internet content and data distribution, Al-Kuwari indicated that Es'hailSat has strengthened the communication service via optical fiber, to ensure smooth broadcasting of matches, away from external influences, especially since the main goal is to provide Integrated critical infrastructure, providing a comprehensive service of high quality, supported by secure and reliable connectivity, through fixed terrestrial networks, and mobile units by land, sea and air.

He added that the tournament embodied an ideal opportunity for us to test our capabilities and capabilities, and also strengthened the contribution of "Es'hailSat" in stimulating the country's development process and supporting the national economy, and at the same time translates the State of Qatar's commitment to providing secure and independent communications for all.

During his speech, the CEO of the company revealed a plan to launch a package of long-term development projects that would achieve Es'hailSat's vision of becoming a global operator and provider of satellite services.

He pointed out that these projects are in their final stages, and their details will be announced soon, and it is expected that they will contribute to the success of Qatar Vision 2030, especially since they were designed to keep pace with this national vision and its aspirations to transfer the local economy from oil to knowledge and digital. In response to a question about the expansion plan, Al-Kuwari affirmed the company's intention to double the broadcasting area, in addition to other accompanying projects. To ensure maximum and full benefit from our satellites.

Regarding investment facilities and opportunities, the CEO of Es'hailSat stressed that the Middle East and North Africa region enjoys great potential, which qualifies it to expand the scope of its communications and overcome its geographical obstacles, coinciding with the approach of optical fibers to African shores, which helps to deliver these services to remote areas.
