The hotel, "MSC Boesia" in particular, includes 1,265 cabins, three swimming pools, a spa and wellness center, a cinema, poolside, tennis and basketball courts, in addition to four dining options, 15 cafes and event venues.

Floating hotels are one of several facilities provided by the State of Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, scheduled to start next Sunday, for fans and provide them with multiple options for booking and accommodation throughout the tournament, including apartments, villas, fan villages and the usual hotels.

His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, President of the Qatar Tourism Authority and CEO of Qatar Airways, affirmed yesterday that providing residential and entertainment services on board floating hotels reflects the cooperation and strenuous efforts made to organize the best World Cup in history.

According to the estimates of the MSC Cruises Group, which owns the three floating hotels that serve the tournament, its capacity will reach 10,000 beds, and its reservations in the first week of the World Cup have reached 100 percent.

The history of cooperation between Qatar and MSC Cruises dates back to 2016, when Doha welcomed the group’s first mega cruise ship, MSC Fantasia.
